​Stayed about a week

Margaret’s place is amazing! She was thoughtful in the amenities she provided, including a well-stocked kitchen, outside dining with a grill, a towel warmer for cooler temperatures, and large bedrooms with reading chairs—right downtown, walkable yet still quiet. Rent a bike within the block and bike to Acadia. The EV charger is a bonus—one of my best experiences on Airbnb.

Group trip

This was by far the perfect place for our group. Everything we could want within walking distance. The house was beautiful and very well equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely come again!

Perfect host, perfect home and perfect location!!
Wow!!! We feel like we hit the jackpot after searching for just the right place.
Margaret was incredible: quick to respond, cared about the details in making our arrival wonderful, and made some wonderful suggestions that were spot on.
She knows what she is doing as the home was just beyond perfect! So comfortable, I cooked several times: everything I needed was right there.
**each room has it’s own heater and ac unit ….this was huge: not to mention very comfortable king beds. The trundle bed was super comfy as well.
This home is made with the best materials(loved the crank windows) and filled with the best. You can see that and feel it in every way.
Location, location, location. Whatever you need is literally a block away: grocery store, restaurants, shops and all the beautiful sights!
Yes: we feel in love and intend to return. Thank you Margaret: we won the 20 year old twins back into loving vacations!! ❤️

    Amazing stay

    This is a wonderful property right in the center of Bar Harbor, you park your car and can easily access everything around the town. The house was clean, right across the grocery store, we loved our stay and are hoping to come back to Acadia again, we will definitely choose this house!

    Spacious House in Serene Location Near Acadia

    We loved staying at this house! It's off the road, near forest/farm in a quiet location. Still, it's located within a 10 minute drive to Bar Harbor or Acadia NP. The house sleeps 8 comfortably, on three levels. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances/components - just bring your food (and ground coffee). The deck and screened porch were relaxing locations for family time. Margaret recommended Hadley Beach for sunset and campfire, and supplied the wood and beach chairs as well. There is plenty of storage space in the garage, and we used it for our golf clubs. We highly recommend staying here, and would stay again next time!

    Best house in Bar Harbor!!!

    We have been visiting Bar Harbor for 8 years now, and this home is by far the best we have ever stayed in. The property is absolutely gorgeous, with a pond full of frogs that my kids loves to watch, next to a horse farm, and even a trail leading into the park to a hidden gem of a lake that the kids loved swimming in. (Lake Wood) The house itself was super clean, the beds were so. so comfortable and large, and the kitchen was fully equipped. Our four kids loved the open space to explore and I loved spending quiet mornings in the screened in porch before everyone woke up. It was just perfection.

    Great rental in the heart of Bar Harbor

    Our family enjoyed staying in this cute rental. There was plenty of space for 6 people, and we were able to fit three cars in the driveway when nearby friends came to visit. The location was perfect-across the street from a large grocery store, a very short walk to the Bar Island beach, and a short walk to tons of restaurants and stores in Bar Harbor. We appreciated the window air conditioning units during the unusually hot weather we had. We contacted the owner about an issue with the stove (we were being dumb), and help arrived within ten minutes. For families with little kids, know that the bathroom does not have a bathtub (large shower only). For families with older kids, you can spin two Pokestops from the house!
